Finds drones up to 80 km away, in every direction

DroneTrack finds drones by the radio links they need to fly, and reads Remote ID where a drone broadcasts it. Range on your site depends on terrain, line of sight and where you place the unit.
Detection range
40 km (consumer UAV) / 80 km (military UAV)
  • Early warning, well before a drone reaches your perimeter.
Coverage
360°, full RF spectrum including 3G/4G/5G
  • Catches drones flown over mobile networks, from any direction.
Detection technology
RF direction finding + Remote ID
  • Finds drones that never broadcast Remote ID, and reads the ID of those that do.
Detection method
Passive RF monitoring and Remote ID detection
Supported drone bands
All commercial drones and most FPV drone bands
Swarm detection
Multiple simultaneous drones
  • Tracks several drones at once, not just the first one it finds.
Max simultaneous drones
[MAX SIMULTANEOUS DRONES]
Triangulation
Yes, multi-unit capability
  • Two or more units show the drone's position and the pilot's.
Time to alert
[TIME TO ALERT]
Drone library
[DRONE LIBRARY]
AI processing
On-device, no internet required
  • Detection keeps working with no internet connection.
Setup time
< 1 minute (plug-n-play)
  • No calibration flights and no integrator.

Hears drone control, telemetry and video links from 70 MHz to 6 GHz

A dual-channel software-defined radio scans the bands drones use to fly, report back and stream video. On-device AI then separates drones from Wi‑Fi and background noise.
Receiver type
Dual-channel software-defined radio receiver
  • Tuned and adjusted in software, not with hardware changes.
Receiver architecture
Direct-conversion wideband RF architecture
Receive channels
2, coherent dual-channel reception
Hardware tuning range
70 MHz to 6 GHz
  • Covers the control, telemetry and video links of commercial and most FPV drones, including drones flown over 3G, 4G and 5G.
Max instantaneous bandwidth
Up to 56 MHz single-channel, up to 30.72 MHz per system dual-channel
  • Watches a wide slice of spectrum at once.
Analog receive bandwidth
Software-adjustable, approx. 200 kHz to 56 MHz
Analog-to-digital conversion
12-bit
Max converter sample rate
61.44 MS/s
Receiver gain
Software-adjustable, up to approx. 76 dB
RF port impedance
50 ohms
Max recommended RF input
−15 dBm
Host interface
SuperSpeed USB 3.0
Signal processing
Programmable FPGA-assisted digital signal processing

A live bearing to every drone, from one unit

Six antennas sit in a circle, and a fast solid-state switch samples each one in turn so the unit can work out which way a signal comes from. Two or more units cross their bearings to show where the drone and the pilot are.

Direction-finding array

Array configuration
Six-element circular antenna array
  • Gives a live bearing to each drone, so your team knows which way to look.
Antenna elements

Frequency support
450 MHz to 6 GHz
Direction-finding method
Intelligent RF power sampling with vector-based angle-of-arrival processing

RF switching system

Switch type
High-speed solid-state RF antenna switch
Switched antenna inputs

Switch controller
Dedicated embedded high-performance microcontroller
Switching operation
Automatic and continuous during RF direction finding
  • Nothing to steer or set up; the bearing updates as the drone moves.

Reads Remote ID without interrupting tracking

Two dedicated receivers read Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth Remote ID broadcasts, separately from the direction finder. Drones that broadcast Remote ID show their ID and operator details. Drones without it are still found by their radio links.

Wi‑Fi Remote ID receiver

Receiver type
Dedicated USB Wi‑Fi monitoring adapter
Operating mode
Passive monitor mode
Supported bands
Configuration-dependent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
Broadcast types
Wi‑Fi beacon Remote ID, Neighbor Awareness Networking, compatible manufacturer-specific IDs
Operation
Independent from the main direction-finding receiver
  • Reads Remote ID without interrupting direction finding.

Bluetooth Remote ID receiver

Receiver type
Dedicated Bluetooth Low Energy receiver
Primary function
Detection and decoding of compatible Bluetooth Remote ID broadcasts
Operation
Continuous passive scanning
Compatibility
Dependent on broadcast format and regional implementation
Remote ID standards

Networked units stay aligned, and your team sees it all in one app

A GNSS receiver in every unit keeps a multi-unit network aligned. The software platform and the desktop and mobile apps come with every unit.
Positioning receiver
Fast-acquisition GNSS positioning receiver
  • Keeps networked units aligned so their bearings cross at the right place.
High-speed receiver connection
